While many couples choose to have their pre wedding session at their wedding venue, Emma and David decided on somewhere even more personal. They invited us to David’s family farm in the heart of the Stirlingshire countryside, a place full of memories and somewhere that has played an important part in their lives together.

With glorious sunshine from start to finish, it couldn’t have been a more perfect afternoon for capturing some relaxed, natural photographs before their wedding at Strathallan Castle later this year.

While Emma and David’s wedding will take place at the beautiful Strathallan Castle, they wanted their pre wedding photoshoot to reflect a different part of their story.

David’s family farm has been part of his life for many years, making it the perfect backdrop for photographs that celebrate not just their relationship but also the place that means so much to them both.

As we wandered around the farm, we were spoiled for choice with beautiful locations. Golden hay bales scattered across the fields created the perfect rustic setting, while the rolling Stirlingshire hills stretching into the distance provided breathtaking views and a wonderful sense of space.

The warm afternoon sunshine added an extra touch of magic, bathing the landscape in beautiful natural light and creating the perfect conditions for relaxed countryside portraits.

Our aim during every pre wedding photoshoot is simple. We keep everything fun, relaxed and completely natural.

Rather than asking couples to stand in awkward poses, we encourage them to walk together, chat, laugh and simply enjoy spending time with each other. Those genuine interactions create photographs that feel authentic and truly reflect their personalities.

Emma and David were a joy to photograph. From strolling hand in hand through the fields to sharing quiet moments amongst the hay bales with the stunning Stirlingshire hills in the background, every photograph reflected the excitement of the journey they’re about to begin together.
