Natalie & Patrick | Comrie Croft

We are delighted to be able to share Natalie & Patrick’s beautiful summer wedding from August at Comrie Croft in Perthshire.

Bride, Natalie opted to get ready with her mum and bridesmaids in the Farmhouse at the Croft and had a relaxed and fun morning with drinks, nibbles, hair and makeup. We had lots of time to capture some relaxed moments and details, between candids of the guests as they started to arrive.Groom Patrick shared an equally relaxed morning with the boys and Brian was able to capture relaxed photos of them as they got ready and also walked to the venue to welcome guests.

The woodland wedding was picture perfect with a stunning floral backdrop by local Croft florist and flower grower Tomnah’a, while the bride’s dainty bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement by Charlie’s Slow Makes. A sunny day and blue sky allowed all to enjoy the outdoor setting in the woods as the couple exchanged individually written vows and a highly personal and emotional ceremony.

After some couple portraits in the woods and upper meadow, the couple enjoyed drinks and canapes in  the croft courtyard, spent lots of time with their guests and some more group and informal photographs, then moved into the barn for their wedding breakfast. They had spent a lot of time decorating the barn and it celebrated their story as a couple with lots of thoughtful details and warm colours.

Their day was completed with a full on party in the barn with dancing which the barn is perfect for.
