JAMES & HANNAH | PERTHSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | COMRIE CROFT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | SCOTTISH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

James and Hannah’s Comrie Croft wedding was everything that we love about shooting a wedding at Comrie Croft. Childhood sweethearts, they had been together since the age of 16 and surrounded by their friends and family, their bond was apparent. The day started with Hannah and her many bridesmaids – eight in total – enjoying girl time with hair and makeup by the brilliant Meigan and Lauren of Sam Park Crieff. The farmhouse in Comrie Croft is the perfect place to get ready for a wedding with lots of room and a stunning view over the Perthshire hills. We loved Hannah’s pastel colour palette of soft pinks and greys, with bridesmaids in a mix of styles accented with pretty sparkly details on the gowns and complemented by florals from Bluebells in Crieff. Bouquets were a fragrant mix of soft roses and lisianthus which added an on trend pop of colour, whilst Hannah’s bridal trumpet gown was both elegant and memorable.

Meanwhile with the boys… We do love that wedding days are two people coming together and as we shoot as a couple, perhaps our favourite part of viewing the gallery afterwards is seeing what the girls and boys were up to as they prepared for the wedding day! The boys were suitably suited (kilted) and booted and even had time to take in some Comrie Croft scenery before the wedding ceremony.

Another favourite part of shooting a wedding at Comrie Croft? Seeing the barn for the first time as it is always personal and unique to each couple. Hannah and James had opted for lots of fresh white and greenery which created a delicate and contemporary wedding ceremony vibe. We loved the attention to detail in pretty arrangements of vintage teacups, stunning tables of naked cakes, a VW Camper Van as a bar and fabulous catering by the incomparable Lazy Sunday. Cue ceremony, a piper and lots of tears and laughter – all those months of planning fulfilled in another favourite moment when the bride walks in with her father.

The remainder of the day was a joy – blessed with soft spring light – their couple photos allowed James and Hannah to enjoy some time to take in being married and for us to capture it.

Thank you James and Hannah for allowing us to capture your beautiful wedding.
